Mirror Me Diversity wants to change this
Our mission is to create a future where every teenager can see themselves, and the diverse world they live in, reflected in the characters they read about.
We provide the link between diverse YA authors and books, and the teens wanting to read them. All you have to do is participate:
-
subscribe: we will send you a monthly list of diverse books that teenagers themselves are raving about.
-
volunteer to write a review: if you are a teen between the ages of 13 and 19, and you love to read, apply to be on our team of teen reviewers
-
donate: please consider donating gently used to excellent condition diverse books you have at home so we can provide vulnerable youth with books that reflect and inspire them. If you don't have books, all monetary donations will be put towards the maitenance of our organization and buying more books for youth who cannot otherwise access diverse books of their own.
We want to normalize the marginalized through literature and we need your help to do it.
